SITE LIGHTING
-All exterior lighting to be "Dark Sky" compliant and shall
not contribute to Light Pollution
-Exterior light shall not spill beyond property lines
STORM WATER
-Low Impact Site strategies shall be incorporated wherever possible
-Surface flow and treatment of runoff water is preferred
over catchment and underground piping
-Pervious paving methods shall be used wherever possible in lieu
of concrete or asphalt for vehicular and pedestrian pathways
LANDSCAPE and PLANTING
-Lawns and turfgrass requiring irrigation, fertilizer and
chemical treatment are discouraged
-Permanent irrigation sytems are to be avoided unless acheived
via on -site rainwater harvesting
-Monoculture plantings should be avoided; instead indigenous
or naturalized plant species shall be utilized
-Natural areas should be preserved or restored to encourage
the development of wildlife habitat areas within the site
