First of all, thank you for working with us on the landscaping and lighting issues
at the Barristers Dorm at 1016 McGowan Street. We hope to be able to issue
the Certificate of Occupancy certificate to you soon.
Secondly, enclosed is a copy of the design guidelines for the MacArthur Park
Historic District. Please contact us as soon as you wish to get on the agenda for
the commission to approve your lighting, signage and fencing requests. You will
need to file that application with my office. We will check and make sure all of
your submissions adhere to the other city codes, or tell you haw to apply for a
variance from them.
