Here is the information that you will need for obtaining a COA in the Macarthur Park
Historic District. Also enclosed is a two -page summary of Parking Lot design guidelines
we recommend. The Historic District Commission does not look at any proposed use of
a property or any interior renovations or repair, however, if this development will have
any new windows, doors, entranceways, materials, or changes to the building fagade, a
COA will need to be obtained.
Our next hearing date is March 10t' and the filing deadline has already passed, as well as
the deadline for us to post the legal ad. I think your best bet would be to have the
applicant file for April 7, 2005 hearing as we discussed on the phone in order to allow
them to have time to prepare the site plans. That filing deadline is March 7, 2005.
