3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE USES OF THE BALANCE OF 2006 HOME
4 FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

6 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received $3,225,680.00 in 2006 HOME funds from the
7 Department of Housing and Urban Development, and
8 WHEREAS, on September 6, 2005, the Little Rock Board of Directors approved funding for a
9 portion of the 2006 HOME Program Grant (Res.12,090), and
10 WHEREAS, at that time, funding was set aside for CHDO's and for undesignated projects, and
11 WHEREAS, at least two (2) public hearings have been conducted in order to assure the
12 maximum citizen input possible;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
14 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 2. The Board approves the submission of the following projected uses of 2006

Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the resolution.
Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
