3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH COMMERCIAL AIR, INC. TO PROVIDE HVAC CONTROL
5 REPAIRS ON AN AS- NEEDED BASIS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. C07008, was issued to
8 provide HVAC control repairs on an hourly basis as needed, and Commercial Air, Inc. submitted the only
9 quotation at $65.00 per hour labor and manufacturer's published list price for parts, multiplied by .375
10 percent; and
11 WHEREAS, the initial term of the contract will be one (1) year and may be extended for an
12 additional four (4) one (1) year periods, upon agreement of the parties;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
14 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract
16 with Commercial Air, Inc. to provide HVAC control repairs on an hourly basis as needed, at the rate of
17 $65.00 per hour labor and parts at manufacturer's published list price multiplied by .375 percent, with
18 the initial term of the contract being one (1) year from date of award, which may be extended for an
19 additional four (4) one (1) year periods upon agreement of the parties.
20 Section 2. Funds are available from Building Services Operating Budget.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
22 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
23 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain
24 in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not

originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
