3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION NO.
4 16,954 (FEBRUARY 3, 2026) TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
5 ENTER INTO CERTAIN COOPERATIVE CONTRACTS; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS,cooperative purchasing contracts are beneficial in that they provide access to pre-negotiated
9 contracts for goods and services and help secure better terms,reduce costs,and streamline the procurement
10 process by eliminating the need for the City to engage in competitive bidding;and
11 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock ("City") has a need to enter into an additional cooperative
12 purchasing contract;and,
13 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock Board of Directors approved City of Little Rock, Arkansas
14 Resolution No. 16,954 on February 3,2026,approving the use of twenty-one(21)cooperatives; and,
15 WHEREAS, these cooperative purchasing contracts will allow the City to procure commodities and
16 services through and vendor contracts that the cooperative purchasing contracts may enter into; and,
17 WHEREAS,these cooperative purchasing contracts shall be made available to the City and staff will
18 generally be able to utilize and leverage the cooperative contracts by issuing a purchase order directly to
19 the vendor; and,
20 WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into this cooperative purchasing contract with Purchasing
21 Association of Cooperative Entities(PACE)in a form and format approved by the City Attorney.
22 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
23 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
24 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a cooperative purchasing contract with the
25 Purchasing Association of Cooperative Entities (PACE) in a form and format approved by the City
26 Attorney.
27 Section 2. Any limitation on any of these cooperative purchasing contracts shall be imposed by the
28 City's Chief Financial Officer or his designee.
29 Section 3.Severability.In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
30 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,such declaration or adjudication
31 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
32 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with

1 the provisions of the is resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
