Bricks to be reused from repaired foundation piers under house. (Pier work under house is not reviewed by HDC.) b) Use Type N mortar with joint to match existing. c) Seal hairline cracks with caulk. Prime and paint to match existing paint. Receive prior approval if the paint on the brick is to be removed. d) Do not sandblast or pressure wash brick surfaces. 2) Corner Trim Boards, Trim Boards around Windows, and Siding Repair. a) Remove damaged trim boards and siding pieces and replace with boards of same dimension, shape and profile. b) Caulk, prime, and paint. 3) Roofing a) Remove multiple layers of asphalt roofing. b) Replace broken or rotted decking pieces as needed. c) Reroof with three tab shingles, CertainTe0d 'XT30'in 'Cdloriibl State Color. d) No changes will be made to the roof pitches, gables, or valleys. e) Valley construction detailing to remain the same as existing. f) Do not change the size of the overhang. 4) Porch Railings a) Repair damaged and replace deteriorated or missing balusters and rails with wood of same dimension, shape and profile. These will need to be custom milled to match the exsiting. b) Caulk, prime, and paint. 5) Prep and paint gutters and downspouts. a) Repair as required. b) If replacement parts are used, replace with same size, shape and materials as original. cl Scrape, prime and paint guttering as needed. -cam I z HDC Staff Signature ' 1 Date The original is printed on pale orange. paper
