Project Description with Conditions listed:
1) Roofing
a) Remove multiple layers of asphalt roofing and/or additional layers of roofing materials.
b) Repair decking with boards of same thickness, (plywood, chipboard, or 1 x6 boards for decking.)
c) Coping on top of parapet wall may be repaired or replaced. Coping to be no larger than the
original when viewed from 101h Street.
d) Gutters may be removed and replaced if necessary for roof installation.
e) No changes will be made to the roof pitches, gables, or valleys.
f) Roofing material to be suitable for flat roof systems.
2) Mechanical Units — Heating and Air units -
a) Repair or replace unit with unit in same location as existing.
b) Eliminate any condenser units and supply/condensate lines that are replaced when visible from
the street. Do not run supply or condensate lines on the exterior of the building.
c) Units may be removed during roofing project and replaced when heated and cooled space is
desired in eastern portion of the building.
