3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MCLARTY FORD,IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
5 EXCEED SIXTY-THREE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-
6 FIVE DOLLARS ($63,725.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES,
7 FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) NEW 2026 FORD F-350 CREW CAB
8 4X4 CHASSIS TRUCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Street Operations Division of the City's Public Works Department has a need to
11 acquire one(1)new 2026 Ford F-350 Crew Cab 4x4 Chassis Truck,as a replacement for one high-mileage
12 vehicle that requires costly maintenance;and,
13 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark. Resolution No. 16,603 (February 18, 2025), vendor
14 selection of McLarty Ford was made through HGACBuy Contract#VE05-24;and,
15 WHEREAS,the total cost to purchase one(1) new 2026 Ford F-350 Crew Cab 4x4 Chassis Truck is
16 in an amount not to exceed Sixty-Three Thousand, Seven Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars($63,725.00),plus
17 applicable taxes and fees per the McLarty Ford's Quote attached hereto as Exhibit A.
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with McLarty Ford, in an amount
21 not to exceed Sixty-Three Thousand, Seven Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($63,725.00), plus applicable
22 taxes and fees, for the purchase of for the purchase of(1) new 2026 Ford F-350 Crew Cab 4x4 Chassis
23 Truck
24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from the2026 Public Works Operations Equipment
25 Fund Account#205409-72300-S40B679.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4.Repealer.All laws, ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
