Cara and I are Psychological Counselors who plan to use our newly purchased property at 1301 Cumberland as our principle office. We have been in private practice for fourteen years and owned a residence used as our office for a number of years in Jonesboro prior to our move to the Central Arkansas area. The bucolic setting offered by this charming property at 1301 Cumberland is a perfect adjunct to the healing therapy we plan to provide for our clients. Interestingly, the office will serve as the business/billing center for our practice as my wife and 1 are often servicing evaluation contracts in Morrilton, Jonesboro, Hot Springs, Conway and Pine Bluff. Psychological Care Center employs one full-time office coordinator and one part-time test scoring/filing person. We plan to operate the office from 8:30 to 5:00 per day Monday through Friday. When clients are seen (approximately two days a week), we generally schedule a total of twelve appointments between us throughout a given day. Two clients are seen at a time — reducing waiting time. In the past home converted to an office, we had efficient parking as a result. Luckily with the 1301 Cumberland property, we have a two car garage, a large parking lot in the rear and room for five vehicles directly outside the property. We plan to have two to three employee cars two days a week and two to four client vehicles at a time (due to overlap of appointment time) on those two days. The other three days will have one to two employee vehicles served by the parking behind the property. We, as part of our Psychology practice, offer intellectual achievement, personality and forensic assessments in addition to couples and individual therapies. As a result of the clientele we serve, we anticipate up to eight persons — inclusive of staff and client family members at any one time. Cara and i fully expect that the quiet enjoyment as an outlet for quality psychological services will diversity the historic district as a place for living and conducting business. We feel privileged to take advantage of an opportunity to offer our needed services in the original city. We fully intend to maintain the property in keeping with the historical and cultural milieu the MacArthur history has come to enjoy. If you have any questions or concerns about our intended use of this property, please do not hesitate to call myself or Cara. Best Regards, 0"-f; Cara K.
