I hope you had a great Labor Day holiday. Per the 'courtesy notice' referenced below, the stained glass windows and the screen in the backyard have been removed from the property at 1301 CumberLand Street Little Rock. The original windows have been replaced. Please verify in writing that these requested changes are complete and acceptable, that we are no longer in violation and that we do not wish to file for a COA. Regarding another property improvement item: Please issue a COC 'certificate of compliance' to us at 1301 Cumberland Street Little Rock, as we are now ready and able to paint the wooden portion only of the carriage house at the back of the property. The wooden portion of this building has never been painted. This item was discussed in one of. the previous commission meetings and it was indicated that we would be painting at a later date. We are aware that no brick, block or masonry items are allowed to be painted, without a COA. We do not wish to include these items in the painting of the building thus no COA is needed. Per the new guideline booklet that you provided us this month, contacting you for a COC, prior to commencing work that does not require a COA, is the appropriate step to take to assure that no violations/notices are issued. I will await your response. Please contact me with questions at any time.
