Per our conversation today I am submitting the following Project and Material Description.
Regarding the existing structures at 1301 Cumberland -
Work to be accomplished at the rear of the existing structure,
Existing house: Relocate back door, remove window and reinstall original/salvaged brick to these two affected areas.
The materials used will be: wood and glass door, wood, original/salvaged brick.
Existing garage: Demolish. Four original wood and glass doors preserved for reuse on new carriage house/garage.
Regarding the new construction at 1301 Cumberland -
At the rear of the existing structure and having access from the existing alleyway,
New Courtyard/fence: To be constructed of concrete, split face concrete block, wrought iron, wood, preserved door and
stone pavers. Courtyard is created via the construction of the new fencing.
New carriage house/garage:
Ground level - To be constructed of concrete, split face concrete block, wood, preserved doors, aluminum garage door,
and wrought iron. This level to accommodate two car garage and small work shop.
Second level - To be constructed of wood, asphalt shingles, aluminum siding, vinyl windows and wrought iron. This level to
accommodate a guest house with balcony overlooking new courtyard and original structure.

be 2-12-04 at 5:00pm.
