Dear Mike;
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Quapaw
Quarter Association, thank you for providing us the
opportunity to comment on Poe Travel Agency's plan to
construct a two-story connection between the houses located
at 913 and 915 Cumberland Street. As you know, Gus Walton
of Poe Travel and Conley Pikes, architect for the project,
have consulted with the QQA and the Arkansas Historic
Preservation Program concerning the design of the
connection. The Quapaw Quarter Association is pleased
with the recently revised design (dated March 2, 1984)
and recommends that a certificate of appropriateness be
issued.
