3 A RESOLUTION TO EXTEND THE SOMA 501 ENTERTAINMENT
4 DISTRICT - AS A TEMPORARY ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT (G-25-
5 255-H), FOR THE FOLLOWING DATES: FEBRUARY 20, 2026,
6 FEBRUARY 21, 2026, MARCH 14, 2026, APRIL 29, 2026, MAY 15, 2026,
7 JUNE 5,2026,JUNE 26,2026,JUNE 27,2026,AUGUST 8,2026, OCTOBER
8 2, 2026, NOVEMBER 23, 2026, AND NOVEMBER 28, 2026; AND FOR
9 OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, on July 23, 2019, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed
12 Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 21,761 (LRO 21,761) as amended which permitted the creation of a
13 Temporary Entertainment District pursuant to Arkansas State Law and City Ordinance; and,
14 WHEREAS,the City Board of Directors has determined the creation of a Temporary Entertainment
15 District as proposed by LRO 21,761 as amended is appropriate as recommended by the Planning &
16 Development Department.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY TILE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
19 Section 1. The SoMa 501 Entertainment District-is hereby extended by the City of Little Rock as a
20 Temporary Entertainment District for the following dates February 20,2026,February 21,2026,March 14,
21 2026,April 29, 2026, May 15,2026,June 5, 2026,June 26,2026,June 27,2026,August 8,2026, October
22 2, 2026, November 23, 2026, and November 28, 2026, and subject to LRO 21,761 as amended and its
23 defined terms.
24 Section 2. Boundaries. The SoMa 501 Entertainment District boundaries are particularly described
25 as a half block East of Main Street to the half block west of Main Street starting at 12th Street down to 17`h
26 Street.
27 Section 3. Timeframe. The SoMa 501 Entertainment District will be designated as a Temporary
28 Entertainment District upon the adoption of this Resolution and shall expire on November 29, 2026. The
29 hours of operation for the SoMa 501 Entertainment District are to encompass the following dates and times:
30 February 20, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 pm, February 21, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., March
31 14, 2026,from 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., April 29, 2026, May 15,2026, from 4:00 p.m.to 11:59 p.m., June
32 5, 2026, from 6:00 a.m.to 11:59 p.m., June 26, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., June 27, 2026, from
33 6:00 a.m.to 11:59 p.m.,August 8,2026, from 6:00 a.m.to 11:59 p.m., October 2,2026, from 4:00 p.m.to

1 11:59 p.m.,November 23,2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., and November 28, 2026 from 6:00 a.m.to
2 11:59 p.m.
3 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
4 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
5 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force
6 and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of
7 the resolution.
8 Section 5. Repealer. The provisions of all technical codes, ordinances, and codes of ordinances in
9 conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
