RESOLUTION NO. 4 16,553 (DECEMBER 17, 2024), TO INCREASE THE CONTRACT WITH 5 THOMSON REUTERS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO 6 HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED SIX AND 00/100 7 DOLLARS ($220,406.00), TO COVER EXPENSES FOR ADDITIONAL 8 SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, in Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 16,553 (December 17, 2024) ("LRR No. 16,553") 11 the Board of Directors authorized the City Manager to enter into a contract with Thomson Reuters to be 12 procured thorough Arkansas State Contract Number 46000054069;and, 13 WHEREAS,LRR No. 16,553 provided for a thirty-six(36)month contract for an amount not to exceed 14 Two Hundred Six Thousand, Six Hundred Forty- Five Dollars and 68/ 100 Dollars ($206,645. 04), plus 15 applicable taxes and fees; and, 16 WHEREAS,due to increased research services needed by the City Attorney's office it is necessary to 17 amend LRR No. 16,553 to provide for a contract for an annual budget amount not to exceed Two Hundred 18 Twenty Thousand, Four Hundred Six and 00/100 Dollars($220,406.00), plus applicable taxes and fees to 19 cover expenses for additional subscription services and other expenses through the contract term; 20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 22 Section 1. LRR No. 16,553 is amended to increase the contract cost with Thomson Reuters in an 23 amount not to exceed Two Hundred Twenty Thousand, Four Hundred Six and 00/100 Dollars 24 ($220,406.00), plus applicable taxes and fees to cover expenses for additional subscription services and 25 other expenses through the final contract term. 26 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 27 word of this Ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the Ordinance which shall remain in full force and 29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 30 Ordinance. 31 Section 3. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 32 the provisions of this Ordinance, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency including but not 33 limited to LRR No. 16,553.
