COA REQUEST: Demolition of ge -age, south section
BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS: I� 1994, there was a request by the City of Little
Rock Code Enforcement Division, J< ,k Patton as agent, to demolish structures at 1410
and 1416 Commerce Street. Based . )n the files, each lot had a main structure and
outbuildings; no photographs exist o the structures on the two properties.
In the minutes, Patton stated that thc; application is for the demolition of all structures at
this location (1410 Commerce). The -notion to approve the application for demolition of
both (all) structures at this address v.:is voted unanimously. Demolition of structures at
1416 Commerce was approved also. The minutes are attached for review.
While approval of the demolition of F structures at 1410 included the two -storied
apartment garage, the decision was ver four years ago, and therefore the time period
has expired. The lapse of GOA appF oval requires reapplication for its demolition.
NEIGHBORHOOD REACTION: No : to date
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: It is i, :commendation of staff that the request for the
demolition of the building's southern - ortion, due to its condition and previous action, be
approved as submitted.
