Anne Guthrie, Historic Preservation Administrator -�tw �'� \Ftct(�D SUBJECT: Permit for 1419 Commerce This memo serves as administrative approval from the Little Rock Historic District Commission allowing the property owner of 1419 (located within the MacArthur Park Historic District) permission to obtain a building permit. I understand that the permit is for routine maintenance on the outside and rehab work on the interior. Routine maintenance is allowed within the local ordinance historic district without a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA); as such, and meeting all city, building and health regulations, the application for a building permit should be approved. If exterior changes or improvements are made that require a COA (see the Design Review Guidelines: MacArthur Park Historic District), the LRHDC will be notified and appropriate actions taken for a public hearing. ❑A Thomas Inner City Work to be performed at 1419 S Commerce, in the MC Author Park Historic District, will be as follows: 1) Replace all broken lap siding (4" wood siding). 2) Fix all broken windowpanes. 3) Fix all soffit and cornish work around entire house. 4) Install shingles and caps (asphalt shingles). 5) Install 1xl6 deck to back of house. 6) Paint interior and exterior. 7) Install outside lights.
