The Little Rock Historic District Commission has reviewed the Vinyl Replacement
Windows Vinyl Replacement Windows at the May 10, 2010 meeting. The Little Rock
Historic District Commission has deferred your Certificate of Appropriateness of the
Replacement Vinyl Windows to the June 14, 2010 meeting.
We have located a source of a grant for an energy audit and possible energy efficiency
improvements for your home. They originate at the Community Action Agency that has
an office in Benton. It is the "Weatherization program for low income persons" which is
part of the AR&R money from the federal government. Our commissioner spoke with
Beverly Palmer at 315-1211. If Ms. Palmer is not available, you may speak with
another agent. The call to Benton is toll free. They may be able to insulate your floors,
walls and ceilings, as well as caulk and provide storm windows. There is a waiting list,
so please apply as soon a possible.
If I can be of assistance to help you fill out the forms, please let me know.
As soon as you receive your information on the storm windows, please let me copy it.
Thank you,
