Project is to be completed as specified in Staff report and as approved by Historic District
Commission in the March 12, 2012 hearing. All modifications will be reviewed by AHPP.
1) Replace sashes in 4 windows with single hung true divided light 12/1 wood sashes.
Remove extended header on top of windows. Remove security bars. Use original
jambs and headers as feasible.
2) Repair masonry and replace brick with supply of existing brick. Use appropriate
mortar, preferably a custom mix mortar or "N" mortar mix.
3) Add "true" stucco to the areas over windo..ws_tQ. match original stucco on the building.
4) Install signage on west side of building. HDC Staff to approve location.
5) Install fencing around ac units. Fence to be 5' tall, option without pickets. Location
to not intersect building at precast stone sills.
6) Remove loading dock.
7) This COA does not cover the fire safety doors on the north side of the building.
8) This COA does not cover new deck.

Door 110 fire rated'door — why so far but away from luilding? Sheet 1VI1)! has door a lot
closer to building than Sheet A2.0. Verify location. Plans cal for sidelights. Not
~' approved by HDC. Where is transom window above door? Says on chart solid wood half
lite exterior door wood not rated 3-0 by 6-8 matl HM with panic hardware
Need elevation of door with transom.
— Does not cover replacement windows in room 101 (downstairs lobby.)
Heat pumps are not in locations as specified by HDC. Must extend fencing to go around
units.
Staff will need to approve Light fixtures "R" on page E101 for outside lights near
exterior doors.
