Funding will probably no longer be available. They wil have to waive the bylaws and that will cost you one month. (Bylaw waiver one month and hearing the next month.) At the very least, I would think that you would go with a low profile one that he suggested and come in to apply with his approval in hand. Do you think if I proposed one of the alternate storms and we had it'preapproved' by AHPP, it might make it more palatable to the HDC? Is there a one year wait for resubmittal? Low profile frame storm windows need to be selected so as to not obscure the historic details of the windows. Here are the links to several websites with more appropriate options: One such company that makes interior and exterior storms that would be more appropriate is Allied Window: http://www.alliedwindow.com/index.html Here is another company that specializes in storm windows with minimal visual impact: http://www.historms.com/historic-storm-windows.html Here is another company that makes these: http://spencerworks.com/ And the last one that does interior storm windows: httP://www.stormwindows.com/products/ In short, I will not approve the Quaker storm windows as they will have a negative visual impact on the building.
