but I'll send you additional information as soon as I get it -probably early next week. All of their storms for Historic
applications are certified by the Department of Interior/National Park Service.

Reconsideration of the Strom Window item at the Hostel at 1201 commerce.
Since the last hearing, the AHPP Facade Conservation Easement Coordinator has stated that he would
not have approved the storm windows as proposed in the hearing. He has suggested different
manufacturers for Parks to explore. Parks has researched the different storm windows and has met
with a representative from one of the suggested companies on site last week.
The bylaws state that an item cannot be re -heard by the commission within 12 months of a denial unless
"a material change has been made by the applicant". Section E, 6. B. Staff believes there are two things
to consider. 1) The applicant will not come before the Commission unless the AHPP Fagade
Conservation Easement Coordinator has approved his selection of storm windows. 2) The storm
windows are a low profile which is a material change from the previously reviewed storms. The
company offers a window that projects 3/8".
The bylaws state that the vote must be unanimous of all members present at a regular meeting and for
cause. It is Staffs recommendation that the commission vote to approve a bylaw waiver to reconsider
the addition of storm windows at 1201 commerce at the next hearing.
