Project Description with Conditions listed:
1) Braces
a) Repair triangular knee braces with wood to match existing wood in profile, shape, and size.
b) New wood is to be joined to existing with same construction techniques as original construction.
c) Caulk, prime, and paint wood to match existing.
2) Rafters
a) Repair rafters with wood to match existing wood in profile, shape, and size. If a splice is used, place additional wood to the
interior of the structure.
b) New wood is to be joined to existing with same construction techniques as original construction.
c) Caulk, prime, and paint wood to match existing.
3) Wood consolidants
a) Consider using wood consolidants, such as Abatron WoodEpox and LiquidWood or West System marine grade epoxy.
These resin materials are injected or placed in the voids and once hardened, will hold the rotten wood together. After that,
putty is applied, molded, and sanded to match the original profile. This can be painted to match the original.
4) Roofing
(a) Remove multiple layers of asphalt roofing and one layer of cedar shakes.
(b) Install plywood or chipboard decking.
(c) Reroof with 30 year architectural, color red.
(d) No changes will be made to the roof pitches, gables, or valleys.

5) Solar Tubes
(a) Install two "Solatube" on south face of roof for illumination in the men's upstairs restroom and the stairwell.
(b) Men's Restroom Solatube to be installed on the east -facing slope of gabled dormer.
(c) Stairwell Solatube to be installed the south -facing slope of the roof to the east of the men's restroom dormer.
(d) Paint exposed flashing to match color of roofing.
6) Trim Boards and Siding Repair
(a) Remove damaged trim boards and siding pieces and replace with boards of same dimension, shape and profile.
(b) Caulk, prime, and paint.
7) Trim Boards around Windows
(a) Remove damaged trim boards and replace with boards of same dimension, shape, and profile. Match details of sill of
windows in west side front entry alcove and match lintels of window on first floor north side westernmost set of three windows.
(b) Wood should be pressure treated wood for durability.
(c) Caulk, prime, and paint after stucco repair has been completed.
