Dear Mrs. Satterfield;
621 East Capitol Avenue
Little Rock, Arkansas 72202
501/372-4661
This letter accompanies an application to appear before the Historical
District Commission to gain approval for an addition to our present office
building at the corner of Capital Avenue and Ferry Street,
The Legislature during the 1989 session gave additional responsibilities
to the Contractors Licensing Board, that of enforcing the Non -Resident Bond
Act which will increase our staff needs and at this point we are at the
capacity of our building. We have done extensive planning to try to develop a
building addition scheme that would not deteriorate the appearance of our
building and at the same time, give us the space that we adequately need. We
will certainly furnish all plans and specifications as desired, as many would
be needed for proper consideration by the Commission,
Due to the urgent needs of this space, I respectfully request
consideration as early as possible. If this request could be approved, the
early part of July would allow us to begin construction in mid July, therefore
taking advantage of the summer weather to unroof the portion of our building
without the danger of receiving a great deal of precipitation,
Should you have any further needs, any additional information, please do
not hesitate to contact me at 372-4661, Thank you for your assistance in this
matter,
Sincerely,
CONTRACTORS LICENSING BOARD
