Your application for Siding and Trim; Porch Rebuild; and Windows, at 904-906
Commerce Street will be heard before the Historic District Commission on July 11,
2011. The hearing will be held in the Board Room at the City Hall at 500 West
Markham on the second floor. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m.
Your amendment will be item One on the agenda. You or your agent must be present
in order for the item to be heard.
The application states that "A description of materials for all exterior surfaces to be used
including but not limited to foundations, walls, windows, doors, roof and exterior
surfaces and details including sizes, manufacturer, model number and color. The
following information will need to be submitted to Staff by June 20, 2011 to complete
your submittals for the filing. If you are not including any of the items below, please
respond with "not applicable".
Siding and Trim: Please state if proposed beveled yellow pine 1/2 x 6" will match
existing siding on the front of house. Please state if proposed soffit, fascia, and frieze
boards will match existing trim in size and shape.
Porch: Please revise your cover letter to clarify that part of the work on the porch has
already been completed. I need details of the `spindle frieze element between
columns".
Windows: Specify brand, model number, finish, and size for all windows.

Guidelines for Rehabilitation and New Construction August 2010. Failure to provide all
information requested above in a complete manner before 5:00 pm June 20, 2011, will
result in a Staff recommendation of Deferral on this application.
You will also need to provide an "Authorization of Representation Statement" if you are
to be representing the application for Carr Enterprises.
Your drawing that was submitted has been cropped so that the words on the right hand
side are not present. Please resubmit.
