3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MARK MCLARTY FORD IN AN AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED EIGHTY THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED ONE
6 DOLLARS ($83,901.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2026 FORD F-
7 350 CREW CAB 4X4 WITH DUMP BED FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
8 DEPARTMENT—STREET OPERATIONS;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department—Street Operations has identified the need to replace
11 Unit#01 F232 due to high mileage and increasing maintenance costs; and,
12 WHEREAS, funds for the acquisition of a replacement vehicle are allocated in the 2025 Public
13 Works Special Project Account No. 205409-72300-S40B677; and,
14 WHEREAS, Mark McLarty Ford has been selected as the vendor for the purchase of one(1)2026
15 Ford F-350 Crew Cab 4x4 with Dump Bed through Sourcewell Contract No. 080124-FMC; and,
16 WHEREAS,the total purchase price for the vehicle is Eighty-Three Thousand Nine Hundred One
17 Dollars($83,901.00).
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
19 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract
21 with Mark McLarty Ford for the purchase of one(1)2026 Ford F-350 Crew Cab 4x4 with Dump Bed for
22 the Public Works Department—Street Operations.
23 Section 2. The total purchase price shall not exceed $83,901.00, with funding allocated from
24 the 2025 Public Works Special Project Account No. 205409-72300-S40B677.
25 Section 3. Upon approval of this resolution, the City Manager is authorized to execute any
26 necessary documents to carry out the intent of this resolution.
27 Section 4.Severability. In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,
28 or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
31 resolution.
32 Section 5. Repealer.All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
33 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
