Mr. David R. Martinsen

Little Rock, AR 72202
Dear Mr. Martinsen:
On Thursday, December 5, 1985, the Historic District
Commission voted to approve your application to construct a
garage at 1002 Commerce subject to the following conditions:
1. That the triangular window shown on the east elevation
be changed to a semi -circular one.
2. That you submit a wall section showing materials to be
used and detailing the soffit, fascia, crown molding and
other architectural details.
It will not be necessary to go before the Commission again.
As soon as I receive copies of the above mentioned drawings,
I'll get with John Jarrard to review the drawings. Assuming
that everything is in order, I'll then take the drawings to
the Building Permits Office and you'll be able to get your
permit. Following approval, you will receive a formal
notification outlining the Commission's reasons for granting
the Certificate of Appropriateness.
Should you have any questions, please contact me at
371-4790.
Sincerely yours,
Robert Atkinson, Urban Designer
