Brian,
1 have forwarded your email to my contractor to help with the elevation
details. The siding will be lap siding, but I'll have to get the size info from
my contractor. The color will be initally white but will be painted and the
finish will be smooth.. We will be trying to use as much of the original trim
work as possible, it will be painted cream in color. The picket fence will be
wood, I don't have the guidelines here at work, but I will locate the info and
forward it on to you.
Thanks for your help,
Michelle

I went though your paperwork today to start on your write-up. I have questions:
1. Elevations of house:
I need you to clarify that the "Capture the outdoors" photo is the proposed elevation of the new sunroom that will
be on the northwest corner of the new addition. Will that be a gable roof as shown? With the roof on the other
part of the addition (southwest corner (mudroom)) be a shed roof slanting to the west?
I need details on the roofing materials. manufacturer, style, color, etc.
2. Siding: you brochure is nice but you have not picked a type of siding (lap, vertical panels, shingle, etc); finish
(cedarmill, smooth, beaded cedarmill); color; size of trim boards; etc.
3. Fence in front yard. Are you referring to the "Wood fence with flat wood pickets" as shown on page 66? You
need to specify the detail in the guidelines as well as the paragraph that you will be adhering to.
4. The photo for the arbor is fine, but I need a overall height and width of it as well as basic construction (4x4 or
6x6 posts, size of rafters, joists, etc; painted, etc.)
Please respond to this email ASAP as next week is a short week-

Brian,
I am dropping off the requested information on your email. I could not
get color brochures for the Hardieplank siding, but have 10 copies of
the brochure I was able to obtain. 1 have not decided on color since 1
have not gotten quite that far. Likely pale yellow with cream trim or
pale peach/pink with cream trim. Most of the trim will be replaced after
prep and paint as it is in good shape, if it needs to be replaced we
would use the same type of material as is presently on the home. I
have tried to make sure I have gotten you everything you need. Please
let me know if you require any more info. Phone # 413-8402 or 374-
2878.

Thank you for dropping off your application to the HDC last Friday. The commission will need the
following additional information to proceed with your application:
1. Elevations of the south, west and north side of the structure showing the addition and existing house.
2. Details on what Hardie siding you are using - a model number, color, etc. A color brochure (10
copies) will suffice.
3, What size trim pieces will you use on the house -- corner pieces, around windows, at base of wall,
etc? This needs to be shown on your elevations and labeled.
3. Location of fence shown on survey.
4. Picture of that arbor over the gate including size and materials used.
5. Photos of the squirrel damage.
Thank you. The application instructions states that all required documents for review must be submitted
to staff no later than three weeks prior to the meeting. That date would be June 23, 2008. Is that enough
time to get this information to me? I can place you on the July 2008 meeting or on the August 2008
meeting. I will need to know before close of business this Friday, June 13th.
