Scope of Work
This project includes minor investigations of water intrusion at various locations.
The repair of those possible minor roof leaks, gutters damage and trim issues and
the repair of the resulting damage. Also included are replacement of gate
hardware, repair & painting of handrails, repair/replacement of deteriorated
wood flooring and siding and other miscellaneous work around the Curran Hall
grounds are included with all work shown on attached drawings, A1.1 & A1.2.
This work should begin as soon as practical and must be completed within 20
days of Notice to Proceed. Coating of treated wood flooring is to be completed
no earlier than 90 days following installation.
The facility will be open for business during most of the construction period.
Safety precautions should be taken by the contractor to keep visitors away from
the work and safe when workers are nearby. When all inspections of water
intrusion are complete, the contractor is to notify the Owner and Architect to
determine if additional work must be done to the hidden areas where the water
intrusion exists.
