3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE EXPENDITURE OF ONE
4 HUNDRED THOUSAND AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($100,000.00), FOR
5 GROUNDS MAINTENANCE AT WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON
6 PRESIDENTIAL PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, in Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 11,134(October 2,2001), the City has entered into
9 a Lease Agreement with the now named Bill, Hillary, & Chelsea Clinton Foundation ("the Foundation"),
10 known as the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Park ("the Park"), as amended, under which the
11 Foundation continues to lease certain property from the City("2002 City Lease");and,
12 WHEREAS,the lease requires City participation to maintain the Park grounds; and,
13 WHEREAS,additional funds are needed to ensure the proper maintenance of the park grounds.
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with the Foundation to spend
17 One Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars($100,000.00)for Grounds Maintenance at the Park.
18 Section 2. Funding for this expenditure will come from the General Fund Account 104523-63211
19 (Parks Maintenance Contracts).
20 Section 3.Severability.In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
21 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,such declaration or adjudication
22 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
23 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
25 the provisions of the is resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
