Dear Neighbors,
Rainwater Holdings, LLC. owns the office building at 519 East Capitol Ave. and
we plan to convert it to condominiums. Originally, it was built for six apartments
and was converted to offices in 1979.
As part of this conversion, we want to restore the exterior and add an elevator
and new rear entrance on the South elevation. In addition to the elevator and
rear entrance we plan to add storm windows, replace non -original windows with
wood windows to match the originals, add two 36" square, flat, low profile
skylights in the slope of the north roof, repoint the brick with mortar of the same
color and composition, repair trim and repaint.
The building shares a parking lot with adjoining Rainwater Flats Condominiums.
Parking and fencing is in place and will not change.
