I, Judith A Gosnell, am applying for a Residential Zoning Variance in relationship to
building a replacement carport that was damaged in a 2024 storm. The original
metal carport was of minimal size and attached to the side of my home.
Proposed Improvements:
1. 1 would like to improve the design, size and build of the replacement
carport by matching it to the existing shingled roofline, expanding car
coverage and enclosing storage space onto the end wall.
2. The existing carport pad and the concrete pad next to the carport are on
the same level and both in need of repair prior to any new build. The size of
the concrete pad would accommodate the proposed roof expansion and
storage unit.
3. The carport extension / storage would stop about V from the end of the
concrete pad and just before the level drops down into the yard.
4. Included with this letter is a proposed plan with detailed materials,
dimensions and design.
5. 2025 property survey included.
