Box 550 Little Rock, Arkansas 72203 Dear Mr. Cashion: I am writing in response to your letter of May 22 regarding your desire to tear down the apartment house at 609/611 East Capitol and build a new addition to your present office building. It is always sad to see old buildings destroyed but the fact remains that the buiding in question has been in a deteriorating condition for some time. It is a detriment to the neighborhood whereas your present building is an enhancement and is also in keeping with the historic "flavor" we hope to preserve. We believe the plans for your addition will add further improvement. Please know that for these reasons the Arkansas Community Foundation is in support of your plans. Sincerely, C.-MOur.>,.., .a► Martha Ann Jones Executive Director 604 East Sixth Street Little Rock, Arkansas 72202 (501) 372-1116
