Units #14,632 & #14,833 Dear Mr. Cashion: Information obtained by our office indicates that you are the owner or agent of the above referenced property. This is to advise you that an inspection was made on the above referenced structure and/or dwelling. It was determined by this inspection that this dwelling is unfit for human habitation and is hereby conditionally condemned under provisions of Ordinance #13,304 of the City of Little Rock. This dwelling, is now vacant and is not to be occupied until the conditions for condemnation are corrected and approval is given by the Minimum Housing Office of the Department of Public Works. This ordinance provides you thirty (30) days to either initiate repairs, or demolish and remove the referenced dwelling. Under provisions of this ordinance, you are required to secure the dwelling and/or structure, in an approved manner, within ten (10) days. Failure to secure all accessible windows, doors and/or openings within the allotted time will result in the City taking appropriate action to have this accomplished and the owner will be responsible for all incurred cost. The owner is responsible for maintaining the security of this dwelling and/or structure until all code requirements have been met, by either full rehabilitation or the demolition of this dwelling and/or structure. Please be advised that the issuing of a permit to either repair or demolish this dwelling and/or structure or if, upon request, an extension of time should be granted does not relieve the owner of the securing responsibility. Should you feel the application of this code causes an undue hardship, or that the regulation is misconstrued or wrongly interpreted, you have thirty (30) days in which to appeal this inspection to the Housing Board of Adjustment and Appeals. All necessary permits must be obtained from the Permits Section of the Department of Public Works, located at 723 West Markham.
