Please find attached our request for the Historic Commission consideration of our plans to make
exterior improvements to two properties, the MM Eberts Legion Post Building & its neighbor
immediately to the west, the Paragon Building. As you know, we are developing the Legion Row
apartments in the same block as these two buildings are situated and we are now in a position to review
plans for these commercial structures.
The Legion Building will be utilized as a restaurant/bar and boutique bowling alley, while the Paragon
Building will be renovated and operated as a German beer hall /restaurant. Outdoor seating is planned
on either side of the Paragon .
AMR Architects is serving as the project architect for both renovations and our company represents
both property owners. We think these restaurants will be a quality addition to the MacArthur Park and
River Market District neighborhoods and hope the Commission will be willing to support our plans.
