3 A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT BRYAN HOSTO AS A COMMISSIONER
4 OF METROCENTRE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 OF THE CITY
5 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;AND,FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS,Metrocentre Improvement District No. 1 ("Metrocentre")of the City of Little Rock,Ar-
8 kansas ("the City"), was created pursuant to the Central Business Improvement District Act as set forth in
9 Ark. Code Ann. §§ 14-1840191 to 130, and was created pursuant to Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No.
10 12,849)October 16, 1973);and,
11 WHEREAS Commissioner Robert Shoptaw, first appointed in Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No.
12 10,520 (April 6, 1999)has decided to retire; and,
13 WHEREAS, pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 14-184-111 (b)(1)(A)(i) vacancies are to be filled by ap-
14 pointment of the Board of Directors of the City;
15 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. It is hereby determined that one vacancy exists on the Metrocentre Board of Commission-
18 ers by the resignation of Robert Shoptaw.
19 Section 2. Mr. Bryan Hosto, a person meeting the requirements for said commission, here hereby
20 appointed as a member of the Board of Commissioners of Metrocentre.
21 Section 3. The Board thanks Mr.Robert Shoptaw for his dedicated service in his role as a Metrocentre
22 Commission.
23 Section 3.Severability. In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
24 of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication
25 shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
26 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the ordinance.
27 Section 4. Repealed All laws,ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this ordinance, including but not limited to Little Rock,Ark. Rev. Code § 2-242(e)(l),are
29 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
