(NAFECO), IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED 6 EIGHTY-SIX THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FORTY-NINE AND 67/100 7 DOLLARS ($86,349.67), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR 8 THE PURCHASE OF AN ARCTIC 4 STAGE 24 CFM 6000 PSI 9 COMPRESSOR AND A TRIPLE FILL STATION WITH CONTROLS 10 RATED AT 5500 PSI; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Fire Department has identified the need to purchase an Arctic 4 Stage 24 13 CFM 6000 PSI Compressor and a Triple Fill Station with Controls rated at 5500 PSI to support Fire 14 Department operations;and, 15 WHEREAS, North American Fire Equipment Company, Inc. (NAFECO) offers this equipment 16 through the NPPGov cooperative purchasing contract PS20090, which satisfies the City's competitive 17 procurement requirements; and, 18 WHEREAS, the total cost for the required equipment will not exceed Eighty-Six Thousand Three 19 Hundred Forty-Nine and 67/100 Dollars($86,349.67),plus applicable freight and taxes. 20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 22 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with 23 North American Fire Equipment Company, Inc.(NAFECO)for the purchase of an Arctic 4 Stage 24 CFM 24 6000 PSI Compressor and a Triple Fill Station with Controls rated at 5500 PSI, utilizing NPPGov contract 25 PS20090. 26 Section 2. The total amount authorized for this purchase shall not exceed Eighty-Six Thousand Three 27 Hundred Forty-Nine and 67/100 Dollars ($86,349.67), plus applicable freight and taxes, and shall be 28 charged to the ACT 833 special project(210519-S00B250). 29 Section 3. Funding for this purchase is available through the ACT 833 special project (210519- 30 S00B250. 31 Section 4. Severability. In the event any portion of this Resolution is declared or adjudged to be 32 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this [Page 1 of2] 1 Resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or 2 unconstitutional was not originally a part of this Resolution. 3 Section 5. Repealer.
