3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO AN ANNUAL PURCHASE ORDER CONTRACT WITH BDE
5 INVESTMENTS LLC DBA SERVPRO AND R& J CONSTRUCTION AND
6 COMMERCIAL BUILDING, LLC TO PROVIDE CARPENTRY REPAIRS
7 ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. 3050, was issued to provide
10 carpentry repairs on an hourly basis, and on a as needed basis;and,
11 WHEREAS,the initial term of the contract will be one(1)year and may be extended for an additional
12 six(6),one(1)year periods, upon agreement of the parties;and,
13 WHEREAS,ServePro was the lowest responsive,responsible bid meeting the minimum requirements
14 for the primary vendor of the two(2)bids received; and,
15 WHEREAS, R & J Construction and Commercial Building, LLC was the lowest responsive,
16 responsible bid meeting the minimum requirements for the secondary vendor of the two(2)bids received;
17 and,
18 WHEREAS,the vendors submitted the hourly rates provided in the schedule below.
19 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an annual purchase order contract with BDE
22 Investments LLC DBA ServPro and R & J Construction and Commercial Building, LLC, as needed to
23 provide carpentry services on an hourly basis.
24 Section 2. The rates will be:

6 Section 3.Funds are available in various Building Services Operating Budget Accounts.
7 Section 4. Severability. In the event any portion of this Resolution is declared or adjudged to be
8 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this
9 Resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
10 unconstitutional was not originally a part of this Resolution.
11 Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which are in conflict with
12 any provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
