Dear Ms. Jones,
Your application for Fence, at 320 E 15th Street will be heard before the Historic District
Commission on October 10, 2016. The hearing will be held in the Board Room at City
Hall at 500 West Markham on the second floor. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m.
Your amendment will be item One on the agenda. You or your agent must be present
in order for the item to be heard.
Please edit your cover letter to correspond to the requested 4'-0" high fence in the front
yard.
The application states that "A description of materials for all exterior surfaces to be used
including but not limited to foundations, walls, windows, doors, roof and exterior
surfaces and details including sizes, manufacturer, model number and color." The
following information will need to be submitted to Staff by September 19, 2016 to
complete your submittals for the filing.
Fencing on site: Provide details and locations on fencing, size, material, and finish.
Provide a photo (jpeg will be satisfactory) of the proposed fence. If you are matching
what is on site, please state so.
Site Plan: Provide site plan with dimension of setbacks on fencing. Show where the
existing fencing is located with its height noted. Show all proposed fencing and its
proposed height. Show all gate locations. Show what the gate will look like; hinges,
special shapes, latches, etc. For the graphic that is submitted as part of this application,
different color ink showing the different heights and proposed versus existing is
preferred.
Walks/Sidewalks/Drives: Provide information on which vehicular drives and parking
pads are being removed and which are staying.

information requested above in a complete manner before 5:00 pm September 19,
2016, will result in a Staff recommendation of Deferral on this application.
Just a heads up, you will need a land survey when it comes time to get a building
(fence) permit.
