3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ENTERPRISE FLEET MANAGEMENT,INC.,
5 IN IN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE HUNDRED EIGHT
6 THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE DOLLARS AND
7 NINETY-SIX CENTS ($308,785.96), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND
8 FEES, TO LEASE FORTY (40) VEHICLES FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1)
9 YEAR FOR USE BY THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND
10 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, it is critical that the Little Rock Police Department("LRPD")be equipped with reliable
13 forms of vehicular transportation to support law enforcement operations and ensure the safety and
14 effectiveness of officers in the field; and,
15 WHEREAS, the LRPD vehicle leases were originally approved pursuant to Little Rock,Arkansas,
16 Resolution No. 15,790 on September 20,2022; and,
17 WHEREAS, vendor selection of Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. was made through Arkansas
18 State Outline Agreement No. 4600057000,NASPO Value Point Contract No. 9408, which remains valid
19 through August 1,2026; and,
20 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock desires to lease forty (40) vehicles for a one-year term from
21 Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc., at a cost of Three Hundred Eight Thousand, Seven Hundred Eighty-
22 Five Dollars and Ninety-Six Cents($308,785.96),plus applicable taxes; and,
23 WHEREAS,upon Board approval and execution of the contract by the City Manager,the LRPD will
24 be authorized to utilize these leased vehicles for departmental operations.
25 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
26 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
27 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
28 Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc., in the amount of Three Hundred Eight Thousand, Seven Hundred
29 Eighty-Five Dollars and Ninety-Six Cents($308,785.96),plus applicable taxes,for the one-year lease of
30 forty(40)vehicles for the Little Rock Police Department.
31 Section 2. Funds for this lease expenditure shall be taken from the Special Investigation Division,
32 Account No. 105215-65140.

1 Section 3.Upon execution of the contract by the City Manager,the Little Rock Police Department is
2 authorized to proceed with the one-year vehicle lease agreement.
3 Section 5. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
4 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
5 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
6 effect if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
7 ordinance.
8 Section 6. Repealer.All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same that are inconsistent with
9 the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
