3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
4 EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO DEED PROPERTY
5 FROM THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO THE STATE OF ARKANSAS;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has determined that it is the record owner of the following
9 described property situated in Pulaski County,Arkansas(hereinafter the"Property"):
10 ALL OF THE SOUTH 'h (BEING THE SOUTH 25 FEET) OF LOT 7, BLOCK 75,
11 ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (Parcel Number
12 34L0200410200); and,
13 WHEREAS, it is the purpose of this Resolution to authorize the conveyance of the Property to the
14 State of Arkansas;and
15 WHEREAS, pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 14-54-302 (West/Supp. 2019) a resolution is necessary
16 to accomplish such a transfer of municipal property;
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any necessary documents, in
20 a form acceptable to the City Attorney, to transfer property to the State of Arkansas, more particularly
21 described as:
22 ALL OF THE SOUTH'/ (BEING THE SOUTH 25 FEET) OF LOT 7,BLOCK 75,
23 ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (Parcel Number
24 34L0200410200).
25 Section 2. The State of Arkansas agrees as partial consideration to relocate any monuments or
26 sculptures located on the property at its expense.
27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
31 resolution.
32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
