3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ALTEC INDUSTRIES,INC.,IN AN AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED THREE THOUSAND,SIX HUNDRED
6 THIRTY-EIGHT DOLLARS($203,638.00),FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE
7 (1)ALTEC AT41M ARTICULATING TELESCOPIC AERIAL DEVICE ON
8 A 2026 FORD F-600 4X4 CHASSIS,FULLY MOUNTED,FOR THE PUBLIC
9 WORKS STREET DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Public Works Street Department has identified the need to replace an existing aerial
12 device that has accrued excessive maintenance costs and experienced extended downtime; and
13 WHEREAS, Altec Industries, Inc., offers an Altec AT41M Articulating Telescopic Aerial Device
14 mounted on a 2026 Ford F-600 4x4 chassis that meets the operational requirements of the Public Works
15 Street Department and is available to purchase through Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Contract No.
16 110421-ALT, which satisfies the City's competitive selection requirements; and,
17 WHEREAS, the total cost of this purchase is Two Hundred Three Thousand, Six Hundred Thirty-
18 Eight Dollars($203,638.00).
19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Altec Industries, Inc.,
22 for the purchase of one(1)Altec AT41M Articulating Telescopic Aerial Device on a 2026 Ford F-600 4x4
23 chassis, fully mounted, in the total amount of Two Hundred Three Thousand, Six Hundred Thirty-Eight
24 Dollars($203,638.00).
25 Section 2. Funds for this purchase shall be charged to the Public Works Special Project Fund Account
26 No. 25409-72300-S40B677.
27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,such declaration
29 or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full
30 force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not
31 originally a part of the resolution.
32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, which are

1 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such
2 inconsistency.
