Home My WebLink About16880 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,880 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH STRIBLING EQUIPMENT, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE 6 THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($729,134.00), 7 FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) WIRTGEN W150FI ASPHALT 8 MACHINE FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS STREET DEPARTMENT; AND 9 FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS,the Public Works Street Department has identified the need to replace an existing Asphalt 12 Milling Machine, Unit #03J140, which has accrued high maintenance costs and experienced significant 13 downtime; and, 14 WHEREAS, Stribling Equipment,Inc.,offers a Wirtgen W150FI Asphalt Milling Machine that meets 15 the operational and performance requirements of the Public Works Street Department is available through 16 the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Contract No. 060122-WAI, which satisfies the City's competitive 17 procurement requirements;and, 18 WHEREAS, the total cost of this purchase is Seven Hundred Twenty-Nine Thousand, One Hundred 19 Thirty-Four Dollars($729,134.00). 20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 22 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Stribling Equipment, 23 Inc. for the purchase of a Wirtgen W150FI Asphalt Milling Machine that meets the operational and 24 performance requirements of the Public Works Street Department in an amount of Seven Hundred Twenty- 25 Nine Thousand,One Hundred Thirty-Four Dollars($729,134.00). 26 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2025 Public Works Special Project Fund 27 Account No. 205409-72200-S40B677. 28 Section 3.Severability. In the event any title,paragraph, item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word of this 29 resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall 30 not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion 31 so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
