Markham St. Little Rock, AR 72201 Dear Mr. Minyard, The Board of Directors of the Downtown Neighborhood voted to . xpress organization support for the regulations of the MacArthur Park Historic District and to oppose any waivers for the Page Wilson project proposed for 1422 S. Rock t. We support requiring new houses to be compatible with historic rchit&ctune. The proposed two-story house with the flat roof is incompatible, by at , ff review, but could be made to fA the District by the addition of a hipped roof. We hope the applicant does this. The Downtown Neighborhoods Flan for the Future, originating in 1999 and revised in 2006, also upholds the policy that new strudres be compatible with existing architecture_ Yours Truly, Sharon Welch -Blair President TS: Za 39dd LESvSLCL©5 T
