I would definitely be there but I have a meeting at the church at 5:30. But I really do want to say that many (all the folks that I know and have talked to about this) who live East of Main REALLY support this. Our neighborhood doesn't have much going for it and Page has been the BIGGEST advocate for us. I would hate if the voices of the folks who don't live in our neighborhood would outweigh ours. I'm afraid that if we miss out on this then we'll end up in the same spot we've been in since the tornado, empty lots with nothing happening and folks from the outside saying what should or shouldn't happen and therefore nothing happens. Thanks for listening and your work at the city, hope you have a great day! I live near those lots and I think they are compatible with the neighborhood and will help raise our property value. We want more houses and neighbors, our community has been deprived of both since the tornado and this is an important step in rehabilitating our neighborhood. PLEASE allow Page to move forward. I know almost all of the immediate neighbors and we are excited about this. Thanks, Chris and Liz Ellis 1814 Rock St 5/11/2009
