Scope 1. Furnish and install Fashion, Inc. Architectural Metal Panels, Complete with Flashings, and accessories as indicated on drawings specified herein. B. Related Scope 1. Documents related to this section include, but are not limited to, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and other specifiec dn.istons stated herein. 2. Other tees of flasnings stall be as specified in the appropriate divisions. 1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE A. Installation 1. Provide scaled drawings depicting required layouts, flashing detail and cross sections for various conditions. 2. Shop drawings and field conditions must be approved by Archiie[t and Installer prior to fabrication. C. Provicie submi.-Lais in accordance with Section 1.5 FINISHES A. Finish coat to be KYNAR 500® 70% full strength fluorocarbon resin over a coat of modified urethane primer on the finish side. Primer wash coat applied to the reverse side for additional protection. B. Coatings shall be consistent with testing per 'Glidden NUbelar' performance properties. C. Selection to be from Manufacturer's Standard KYNAR color selections (see Product section 2.1 item B. 2.b.). 1.6 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING A Delivery 1. Carefully unload materials. 2. Spreader barsllong forks may be required. B. Inspect deRvaea materials 1. Note any snortage/damage on freight bill. File freight claim. 2. Order replacement materials. C. Store materials above ground and protect from damage. Protect against interference by other trades or adverse job/moisture conditions. 1.7 WARRANTY P. Submit manufacturer's written year standard finish warranty. B. Installer to furnish warranty for years from the date of final completion and acceptance, guaranteeing materials and w drkmanship for weatnenigntness. II PRODUCT 2.1 ARCHITECTURAL METAL PANELS A. Material: 24 Steel G-90 H.D. Galvanized ASTM-A-446 50 KSI Min. Yield. B. Panels 1. Architec,, ural Panels as manufactured by Fashion, Inc., 2. Please refer to Fashion's current catalog for: a. Panel type and coverage b. Coici and finish. c. Application and engineering data. 3. Consul: manufacturer for curved panels and special conditions. 2.2 FLASHING A. Metal Flasrungs shall be of same color, gauge, and finish as the roofing panels uniess otherwise stated. 2.3 UNDERLAYMENT A. Furnish and install 30# felt or edual in accordance with recommendeC specifications of the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association. 1. Felt shall be laid in horizontal layers with joints lapped toward the eaves a minimum of 6' and secured along laps at the ends as necessary to hold the felt property in piace.
