Foundation: The foundation height for the house is noted on Sheet A2.0, Drawing 3 - South
Elevation at Living Room. It dimensions the proposed foundation at 2'-10". The proposed
foundation at the garage/studio is a concrete slab. If the foundation for the garage/studio is on
grade, then a 4" concrete slab is all that is needed. If not, then an 8" concrete block foundation
incorporating a 4" concrete slab is good for the foundation.
Steps to house: The proposed steps at the house are to be poured concrete, and a drawing of
the proposed handrails are shown on Sheet A2.0, Drawing 1 - Front North Elevation. Same cable
rail for all railings.
Walls: Ivory
White masor
For the garage, the metal we propose is a
Meridian panel by McElroy Metal in Dark
Bronze, 26 gauge, 12" width panels.
No trim boards around the windows and door
at house and garage.
Windows: We propose Quaker Windows
or Windsor Windows for the windows. Vinyl
windows/bronze. Details on blueprint --
estimates pending.
Doors: Solid core, flush metal door, painted
a color to match the dark bronze color of the
windows. The door can be made through local
supplier and does not have a model number.
Long black door handle.
For the overhead garage door facing the alley,
we propose a flush panel (no windows) in a
bronze or black color.
Studio Door: French door (painted to match
windows)
Lighting: The proposed lighting will be simple
in form and size.
Gutters: No gutters on house.
Mechanical Systems: If a split package mechanical system is to be used, then we propose
the condensing unit(s) to be located on the south wall of the master bedroom away from the
windows, closer to the southwest corner of the house by the closet. Pool equipment will be in the
same area if possible. Gas meter will be located on Northwest of house. Same with electric and
cable. Noted on blueprints.
Satellite Dishes: None
Roof: For both the house and the garage, the pitches
of the roofs are noted on Sheets A2.0 and A2.1. The
depth of the eaves are 10".
Roofing: Landmark architectural asphalt shingles by
Certainteed, color: Weatherwood.
Metal Roofing: Meridian panel by McElroy Metal in Dark
Bronze, 26 gauge, 12" width panels.

Chimney: Metal spark arrestor to be made on site
to match drawings and to be dark bronze in color.
