CLIENT s : Clevette Weems REPORT #: 10-1020 SITE LOCATION: 413 E 14` St Little Rock, AR LEGAL Not given DISCRIPTION: TYPE OF HOME: Two Story Frame Home SPECIFIC Various PROBLEMS INSPECTED FOR: This is to certify that on October 21, 2010 a structural inspection of the specific areas addressed above was made at the above address. The following shall be noted: The home was inspected and the following were my findings: 1. The brick around the structure is in degraded condition and has undergone horizontal and vertical movement. Vertical movement is the most common damage which can be repaired however horizontal movement of the wall, in this case, requires replacement of the brick. 2. The mortar between bricks has degraded to the point that you can see behind the brick. Because it has decayed so much, rebricking the entire structure is required. 3. Termite damage was observed on the second floor structure toward the back of the building. The walls were still covered so I could not inspect the wall structure but when there is termite damage on the ceiling structure, the walls are typically infested beyond simple repair. A large amount of structure to the second floor would require replacement. 4. The structure on the Southwest has heavily damaged by what I am told was a tornado. Major repair is required. 5. The front porch structure was completely demolished and requires repair. 6. Termite damage was observed in the base structure of the home. 7. Foundation piers have settled and require repair. 8. Holes in the roof have allowed severe mold to engross all plaster, carpet, decking and many structure members. Selective replacement is required. An estimated amount is difficult with plaster still on the walls. 9. Ceiling structure is rotten in many rooms. Floor structure is also rotten in several rooms. Page 1 of 9 HALL ENGINEERING Ltd. A substantial amount of structure must be replaced. All plaster and sheetrock must be replaced. All flooring must be replaced. The bathroom components are damaged. The plumbing and electrical appear heavily decayed and/or damaged. All brick must be replaced. See Appendix A for supporting pictures.
