No more than two layers of roofing are allowed, except that there can be two composition roofs over a wood shingle roof. If two
layers are presently on a house, it must be stripped down to the decking before installing new roofing. hotted decking, damaged or

coated with 300 of gravel per 100 square feet while hot. Wood shingles are not acceptable. Finished roof shall lx free of splits,
cracks, broken shingles, and other detects, and shall be water and weather tight. Contractor will remove from property all roofing
debris. Contractor will guarantee all roofing work performed for a period of 12 months as well as provide HUD with a copy of the
materials warranty provided by the manufacturer of the shingles. Roof will be replaced with similar materials whenever possible and
feasible.
