3 A RESOLUTION TO SET DECEMBER 2, 2025, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON EXCESS KANIS ROAD
5 RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF KANIS
6 ROAD, BETWEEN ATKINS STREET AND THE TRUMPLER STREET
7 RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (G-23-
8 495);AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
11 abandon excess Kanis Road right-of-way located along the north side of Kanis Road,between Atkins Street
12 and Trumpler Street right-of-way.
13 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TILE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
15 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held
16 at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in City Hall, 2"d Floor Board Room, 500
17 West Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas at six o'clock on
18 December 2,2025.
19 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
20 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
21 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any portion of this Resolution is declared or adjudged to be
23 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this
24 Resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
25 unconstitutional was not originally a part of this Resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions,and parts thereof,which are in conflict with any
27 provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
