HomeMy WebLinkAboutCover LetterAziz & Sharmin Farishta (owners) Mobil Convenience Store 5-12-2025 To whom it may concern, 7520 Geyer Springs Road Little Rock, AR 72209 We are requesting the City Of Little Rock to grant a 5' Variance to an existing 25' Building Set -Back requirement at our Mobil convenience store located at 7520 Geyer Springs Road. The reason we are asking for the 5'variance is it will allow us to build an 8' x 21'-l" addition to the front of our existing building. The exterior look of the addition will match the existing building appearance as close as possible. Currently in a separate building, there are two restrooms at the back of our property. Our employees have a long walk to use the rest rooms and it is not safe for them. Due to vandalism, these restrooms are destroyed over and over to the point they are, for the most part, not in working order. We fix the vandalism and a week later, they destroy them again. The purpose of this front addition will allow for the following: 1. Provide a new employee rest room . Safety first for our employees. 2. Provide anew 3 compartment sink with two drainboards and anew hand wash sink in the employee service area. (these two sinks are a requirement of the Arkansas Department of Health, foodservice division). We currently have a mop sink in place at the rear of the store in an access area next to the walk -in -cooler. 3. Allow for some needed storage area. In addition to the building addition, we will be able to provide 2 new parking spaces and one new ADA Van Accessible parking space with ADA parking sign mounted inside a 6" steel concrete filled pipe bollard. New building landscape and pipe bollards will be installed as shown on our Site Plan. I look forward to discussing any issues you might have with this variance request.
